Each month\, participants will receive a fabric kit and instructions to create both an 8×8 inch and 12×12 inch block while exploring the historical significance behind each design. Tim Rickman will introduce each block and provide tips and techniques to ensure success in construction. \nCourse Requirements \n\nPurchase of the Civil War Sampler book (required for participation).\nSelect your color pallet: A Walk on the Prairie fabric line.\n\nCourse Structure \nEach session will include: \n\nIntroduction of the Monthly Block – Tim Rickman will present the design and historical background.\nTechniques & Tips – Guidance on cutting\, piecing\, and assembly.\nQ&A & Group Discussion – Open floor for questions and sharing progress.\n\n3rd Wednesday Monthly Schedule  \n\nMarch: Introduction & First Block\nApril – November: Monthly Block Presentations\nDecember: Final Block & Quilt Assembly Discussion\n\nLearning Outcomes \nBy the end of the course\, participants will: \n✔ Gain confidence in quilt block construction. \n✔ Learn historical context for each block design. \n✔ Develop precision piecing and construction techniques. \n✔ Complete a beautiful sampler quilt by year-end!
