Beginning Quilt Class-Hand & Machine Quilting

In this 4-week class, you will learn the basics of machine quilting, hand quilting, and binding your quilt, ensuring an amazing finish to your first quilting journey.

Requirements – Completed quilt top.

1. Sewing machine in good working condition. This class assumes you have a basic knowledge of your sewing machine, including how to thread your machine and how to wind your bobbin.
2. 1 pre-wound bobbin
3. Free Motion Foot
4. Walking Foot
5. Thread –-neutral colored 100% cotton for piecing (synthetic or cotton)
6. Rotary Cutter with a sharp blade
7. Rotary Cutting mat
8. 6” ruler (available at shop)
9. Complete Fussy Cut Ruler Set (available at shop)
10. Seam ripper

1. Notebook (1/4” graft paper optional)
2. Pencil with eraser
3. Double sided tape (or fabric glue)

8. Ink Pen (ultra fine point)
9. Safety pins
